The Kent Haworth Archival Research Fellowship

Award level:  Doctoral.
Award value: $1365.
Renewable: Non-renewable.
Domestic/VISA: Both are eligible.
Number of awards: 1.
Eligible area of study: All are eligible to apply.
Selection criteria: (a) Research must be undertaken in the York University Archives within 12 months of the awarding of the fellowship;
(b) The Fellowship must be acknowledged in the appropriate section of the dissertation;
(c) The Fellowship must be acknowledged in publications emanating from research accomplished through the Haworth Fellowship. Copies of these publications will be forwarded to the York University Archivist; and
(d) A report will be filed with the University Archivist within two months of the completion of the dissertation.
Application / nomination package: (a) Application form; (b) A description of the research proposal; (c) A statement indicating what materials in the Clara Thomas Archives and Special Collections will be used along with how the materials will be used; (d) A budget of estimated expenditures; (e) Confidential letter of support from the dissertation supervisor; (f) Official Graduate transcripts; and (g) A current Curriculum Vitae.
