Orientation

The Office of the Dean hosts orientation sessions at the start of each Fall term for new York graduate students to meet other students, get tips on how to succeed and learn about the variety of resources, services and facilities provided at York.

Orientation will be on August 28, 2013 for York graduate students entering in the Fall 2013 term.

Select one session:

Session 1: 1:30 pm – 3:30 pm
Session 2: 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm

Location: Price Family Theatre, Rm 102 Accolade East Building

* no registration is required

* please note: the content of both sessions will be the same

 

Many graduate program offices provide additional program–specific orientation sessions. Please inquire with your program office for details.

York University Libraries invites all graduate students to a Graduate Student Library Open House. This is a great opportunity to:

  • Meet the subject librarians and staff who can help you with your research;
  • Learn about collections and services available to you;
  • Ask questions and make connections;
  • See the Graduate Reading Room reserved for your use;
  • Eat, drink, mix & mingle!

Location:Scott Library Collaboratory (2nd floor–look for the signs)
Time: 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm
