Dean’s Task Force on Graduate Students with Disabilities
The Task Force on Graduate Students with Disabilities was constituted in 2012 as a working group of the Faculty of Graduate Studies. The Task Force will identify issues pertaining to Graduate students with Disabilities and make recommendations about improving services and support for York’s Graduate Students with Disabilities.
In particular, the Task Force will:
- Prepare a handbook for graduate students, staff and faculty on services and policies for graduate students with disabilities;
- Review Senate policy regulations on graduate students with disabilities and make recommendations to ensure University compliance with Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA);
- Assess needs of York‘s graduate students with disabilities to ensure we providing appropriate academic support.
Graduate students with diabilities are invited to participate in one of two focus groups, which will be aimed at better understanding your issues and concerns related to your experience at York University.
Refreshments will be served.

April 4th, 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm
Where: Rm 232 York Lanes.
Information collected through these focus groups will contribute to FGS recommendations to the Senate.
