Graduate Diploma in the Teaching of Movement for Theatre

Only applicants with significant prior teaching experience will be considered for a teaching diploma program.

Applicants to the Graduate Diploma in Movement for Theatre are required to have a high level of movement training.

Movement teaching trainees will complete the full acting program. In addition, their course of study will include:

• weekly movement teachers’ seminar
• assist and/or observe a movement coach/choreographer in the program
• teaching under supervision
• a major movement teaching research paper
• coach movement for, and/or choreograph, productions in the Department of Theatre
