Theatre Studies faculty members Laura Levin and Marlis Schweitzer currently hold SSHRC Standard Research Grants for multi-year projects on which they collaborate with both graduate and undergraduate researchers. Professor Levin’s project focuses on the development of a distinctive discourse of Performance Studies within Canada. Professor Schweitzer’s project looks at the development of the transnational trade in theatrical commodities at the turn of the twentieth century.
