Reporting Your Absence due to H1N1 or experiencing flu-like symptoms
Course directors and teaching assistants are normally expected to inform their academic units and/or Deans (in the case of Faculties without academic units) of any absences including the necessity to cancel any classes or tutorial sessions. All course directors and teaching assistants should therefore follow the normal absence reporting procedures that are used in the department/ school/Faculty.
Librarians should similarly follow the regular absence reporting procedures that are used in the library.
On a voluntary basis, you are asked to advise that your absence is due to flu-like symptoms.
Although you are under no obligation to disclose the nature of your illness, your voluntary response will assist the University in monitoring the state of the Pandemic.
