H1N1 Vaccination Update
York University employees and students who have not yet been vaccinated are encouraged to do so. Public health authorities and health experts continue to encourage vaccination as the best protection against H1N1 influenza.
Vaccination is available at most community health centres and walk-in clinics, as well as at many physicians’ offices. Please check with your doctor or community health centre.
All members of the York University community, including students, staff, faculty and visitors can get their H1N1 vaccination at the York Lanes Health Centre. Please ensure that you bring your health card and photo identification (such as YU card or driver’s license). You do not have to be a regular patient at the York Lanes Health Centre to receive the H1N1 vaccination. Please note, however, that vaccinations are being administered based on the availability of the doctors between their scheduled patient appointments, so you may be required to wait.
The York Lanes Health Centre is located in the York Lanes mall on the Keele campus, telephone 416.736.5525.
