Admission Requirements
We welcome applications to our programs from students with a variety of academic backgrounds and personal experiences.

The chart below is designed for applicants currently studying in an Ontario High School.

Program Requirements
Health Studies (SHPM) Grade 12 U Math is strongly recommended
Kinesiology & Health Science BA: General requirements

BSc: Grade 12 U Math (Advanced Functions & Introductory Calculus recommended)

Grade 12 U Chemistry OR Physics

For BA KINE applicants entering York in 2012-13 or later, a 12U Math plus one of 12U Biology, 12U Chemistry or 12U Physics will be required, in addition to the minimum admission requirements.

Grade 12 U Biology
Grade 12 U Chemistry OR Physics
Psychology BA: General requirements

The Nursing Program at York University gave me practical exposure to all aspects of Nursing. Throughout the program, we worked in field placements at various hospitals and units to experience a variety of real-life situations."

Get to know people by getting involved! The Office of Student and Academic Services (OSAS) is looking for volunteers. You can also be a leader and an Ambassador for your faculty, or get involved with one of the faculties student clubs. There is also the opportunity to get involved and be a leader for York.
