REGISTRATION  Policy

Registration Forms
All registration forms must be complete before they will be accepted by HLLN.  If paying by credit card, the card holder's signature MUST be on the registration form and a separate form must be filled out for each registrant.

Registration Deadline for Courses
All registration forms and fees must be received by the Health Leadership & Learning Network Office no later than 4:30pm 2 business days prior to the start date of the event or course. Registration fees are subject to change without prior notice.

Group Registrations for Courses
Discounted group registrations are only open to 3 or more employees of the same organization. If registering as a group, each registrant must have her/his own form and all of the registration forms must be submitted together with the organization's name clearly indicated on each registration form. If group registration forms are received separately, the group rate will not apply.

Transferring a Registration to a Colleague
Transferring a registration to a colleague is permitted if written notice listing the name, organization and contact information of both the registrant and the colleague who will be attending in place of the original registrant is received more than 2 business days in advance of the start of the workshop/course. All transfers will be subject to an administration charge, see each program registration details for amount.

Transferring to Another Course Date
Transfers to a future date for the same course is permitted if written notice listing the course name, course date, the future course date and the registrant's name and contact information is received more than 5 business days before the registration deadline for the course. All transfers will be subject to a $25 administration charge.

Registrant Cancellation/Refund for Courses
If a registrant cancellation/refund request is received in writing more than 21 business days prior to the start date of the event/course, a refund will be issued for the full amount of registration. If a registrant cancels less then 21 business days prior to the start date then it becomes non refundable . See each program registration details for amount of the fee.

We regret that a refund cannot be offered if your cancellation is received less than two (21) business days prior to the start date of the workshop/course. Non-attendance without prior written notice of cancellation will incur the full registration fee.

All cancellations and refund requests for any of the Health Leadership & Learning Network offerings must be received in writing. Refund requests will be accepted by email to hlln@yorku.ca or by mail.

Group cancellation/refund requests will be subject to the approval of the Director of HLLN, above policy applies .  A transfer to another employee is free. Non-attendance without prior written notice of cancellation will incur the full registration fee.

Event/Course Cancellations
The Health Leadership & Learning Network reserves the right to cancel any event or course. Events/courses will not run if they do not have the minimum number of registrants required.

Each registrant will be notified by email prior to the advertised start date of the event/course and the registration fee will be refunded in full. Refunds for cheques will take 3-4 weeks to arrive.

The Health Leadership & Learning Network and York University are not responsible for any additional costs, including, but not limited to, non-refundable airline or hotel penalties.

Changes to Events/Courses
HLLN reserves the right to make alterations to the advertised event/course information including, but not limited to, the course fee, instructor, and date/location.
