Can York offer you a diverse and inclusive workplace?
As we are serviced by many major public transit providers, getting here is
easy! Over 1600 buses service the Keele campus daily. Construction has also
begun on the Spadina-York subway extension from the Downsview Station. The
subway extension to York’s Keele campus will improve connections to
York Region Transit,
buses -- and dramatically reduce bus traffic on campus.
Additionally, with over 11,000 parking spaces between
the Glendon and Keele campuses, parking
is never at an economy.
We strive to fulfill our responsibilities as global citizens through our Yorkwise Green Initiatives and University-wide programs. We support sustainability and quality of life on campus through energy and water conservation, recycling, campus clean-up and campus planning, healthy eating and green space. In fact, the College Sustainability
Report card, has awarded York University a B+ for sustainability, the highest ranking
achieved by Canadian universities in the US-Canada survey.
York is committed to Employment Equity, and encourages applications from all qualified candidates.
