Employee Exit Protocol
 

In cases of an employee resignation/termination of employment from the University, the supervising manager is responsible to collect and provide information by completing documentation compliant with the Employee Exit Protocol so as to ensure that exiting employees:

  1. Are provided payment for all outstanding obligations of the University to the employee by completing the Employee Resignation/Termination of Employment- ETF (Academic [DOC], Non-Academic [DOC]) compliant with University policies and legislative requirements and submitting accurate and timely information to Payroll following notice of resignation or termination.
  2. Return all items that are the property of the University by completing the last page of the Employee Exit Protocol and University Property Checklist (DOC)
  3. Notify or submit information to applicable departments as noted on the checklist in a timely manner following notice of resignation or termination.
