Students are expected to sign up to help lead the discussion for one
reading each week. This means that there will often be two
students per reading, or occasionally three.
The purpose of the presentation is to introduce the reading and
generate discussion. A summary of the reading is not required;
all students will be expected to at last have skimmed each
reading. What the presentation involve's is the student's opinion
about what are the most salient points raised by the reading, any
points that the student disagrees with, and items pertaining to the
reading that the student thinks would be useful for class
Students who have not yet signed up for readings should email me their
