Guidelines and Procedures for submitting Studio Work

InTensions features exhibits, installations, visual essays, and short films that touch on one or more of the themes of the journal: the theatricality of power, corporealities of structural violence, and sensory regimes.

Guidelines:
  1. 1. Films/videos should not exceed 10 minutes and artist should be willing to see these uploaded in quicktime format.
  2. 2. We encourage artists to make videos of installations
  3. 3. Email a C.V. and artist statement related to the work you wish to see featured to:

Send us your visuals in one of the following ways:
  1. 1. Email us two or more jpeg or tiff images representing the work you wish to see featured
  2. 2. Provide a link to artist website with the work to be featured
  3. 3. Mail stills or films to the following address:

Following Submission:
  1. 1. All materials submitted will be acknowledged upon receipt
  2. 2. The journal's decision will be communicated to the artist within two months
  3. 3. No studio work will be feature until InTensions receives a signed legal agreement. This will be discussed with the artist(s)
