Information for Participants

SPIDA hotel arrangements

Arrangements with a nearby hotel for a reduced rate stay for SPIDA participants are as follows:

The Marriott offers two hotel options located at the intersection of Highways 400 and 7, a ten-minute bus ride from the campus [stops at York Lanes].

(1) The Courtyard by Marriott Vaughan features spacious rooms with excellent service.

One of the advantages of staying at Courtyard is that you only pay for those services that you select. The hotel's Courtyard Café offers an extensive breakfast menu every morning. (www.courtyardvaughan.com)

(2) The Residence Inn by Marriott Vaughan is an all suites property, purpose built to accommodate travellers staying for numerous consecutive nights. A complimentary hot/cold buffet breakfast is served every morning. (www.residenceinnvaughan.com)

Both hotels offer heated indoor swimming pools and whirlpool along with a small workout facility. The rates at each hotel are as follows:

Courtyard Vaughan (breakfast served for $11.95 daily):
$119 per night for any length of stay

Residence Inn Vaughan (breakfast included):
$149 per night for 1-6 consecutive nights or
$139 per night for 7-14 consecutive nights

Reservations can be made directly from the respective websites.
