Known bugs in ASDEditor:

• 2007 Oct 29: If the heights of the top panes in an ASDEditor window are
  changed by dragging the bar that separates them from the bottom pane,
  their heights nevertheless revert to the default size as soon as a selection
  is made in one of the top panes (other than the rightmost one) or a
  selection is made of a new left node in the bottom pane.
• 2003 Aug 2: When a new instance of a word is created, if the question "Can
  the new instance begin a phrase?" is answered by tabbing to the "N" answer
  or the "Cancel" option and pressing return, the selection is treated as if
  it were "Y".  In such cases, also, the new node created remains selected
  when other words/instances in the same (right vs. left) list are selected.
  [I have been unable to fix this bug.  The workaround is to use the mouse
  to select the desired option, or to use the Alt-N key combination to select
  the "No" option.]
