Subject: MUNFA Strike and Moscow Trip info (fwd)

The Memorial University Faculty Association (MUNFA) represents sessional

lecturers, CLAs as well as full-time Faculty. MUNFA members have not seen

salary increases in 10 years. The worst thing is that in order to cope with

the strike, the University has opted to shift mid-term break (Spring break

that is already scheduled for February 2001) to this week due to the strike!
