Small Groups

UP

In Weeks 3-12, three one-hour small group sessions are held between the hours of 9:30 and 12:30 to discuss various perspectives on traditional and emerging issues. In six of the small group sessions, groups of four students are assigned to make brief presentations and to assist in leading the discussion. The small group presentations and small group participation is worth 10% of the final grade. On the Monday following the group presentation the presenters submit a 1000-word paper responding to the question and based on their presentation and the group discussion. This paper must be the presenter's own work. It is worth 10% of the final grade.
