Course Web sites Overview
LA&PS provides standardized course Web sites and outlines each term for every course. At every Course Web site there will be a link to the Course Outline. Course Web sites are navigated from the York Course Web Site.
The Course Outline contains information such as: the Course Instructor information (upon hire), the course description, required texts, course learning objectives, weighting of the course and student information policies.
The Course Web sites are optional to your instructors for any other additinional academic content or communications. Instructors will inform students of their web usage plans at the beginning of term. Instructors who do choose to use them may post items such as announcements, online handouts and provide unofficial grades. All Internet and hybrid courses will use a course web site to facilitate and conduct the course. Most correspondence courses also use the Course Web sites.
