Hebrew and Jewish Studies
|The Certificate in Hebrew and Jewish Studies allows students to explore Judaism and the Jewish people with a view to understanding the diversity and complexity of Jewish history, texts, thought, sociology, fine arts, and more. This 24-credit certificate recognizes student achievement in courses that are cross-disciplinary in nature but which have thematic coherence in the area of Hebrew and Jewish Studies. Students may apply credits toward this certificate which count towards a Bachelor of Arts degree.
The certificate is also a requirement for students enrolled in the concurrent Jewish Teacher Education Program offered jointly between the Faculty of Education and the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Professional Studies.
