|Broadcasting draws from popular culture (music, drama, news, art) and creates an instantaneous and simultaneous mass audience.
This program offers pre-professional training in radio production and presentation skills necessary for careers as a radio announcer, radio station disc jockey, music programmer, radio script writer, radio broadcaster. It gives students a high degree of competency that will prepare them to begin careers within the broadcast industry. Students gain the fundamental skills in on-air presentation, scriptwriting and audio production necessary to create and produce effective radio programming. This program is recommended for students interested in radio broadcasting in the context of radio stations.

|This joint program between Seneca College and York University allows students to earn a Seneca diploma in Broadcasting – Radio and a York University Bachelor of Arts Degree. The program is for students who have completed two years of a BA program or three years of an honours BA program at York University.
