The York Centre for Feminist Research/Le centre de recherches féministes à York was formally launched as a bilingual Organized Research Centre in the Spring of 1991. Its membership currently includes more than one hundred feminist scholars with accomplished backgrounds in the arts, humanities, social sciences, business administration, natural sciences, and selected professions. The mandate of the centre is to promote feminist activities and collaborative research at York University as well as to establish research linkages between York scholars and the larger national and international communities.

The Institute for Feminist Legal Studies was established at Osgoode Hall Law School in February 1990, through the efforts of more than one hundred women lawyers, legal academics and law students who sought to achieve recognition for women's ongoing struggle in and with the law. Since that time, the Institute has served as a focus for collaboration on feminist legal studies through its support and promotion of research, creative discussion and teaching of feminist legal issues.

This centre provides resources for francophone women at Glendon College. The Centre is an autonomous group that provides a link with francophone feminist groups and access to documentation on a wide variety of current women's issues especially government documents and reports.

Foundations Computer Assistance Program, a new initiative sponsored by the Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies and affiliated Colleges: Calumet, Founders, Stong, Vanier, McLaughlin and Bethune. FCAP will provide computer support services, including one-to-one coaching and computer skills workshops, to students registered in Foundations-level courses.
