Outreach Programs

Shoreham Public School / Vanier College Literacy Partnership

The Shoreham P.S. / Vanier College Literacy Partnership was founded in Winter 2004 and annually partners approximately two hundred students in Humanities 1970A, The Worlds of Childhood, with Shoreham Public School Kindergarten through Grade Five students. It has made a truly substantial impact on the literacy level of Shoreham students.

STOMP (Student On-line Mentorship Program)

The Student On-line Mentorship Program has been conducted at Bakersfield Public School in York Region.

Play in Peace Playground Program

In Humanities 2690, Introduction to Children's Studies, 140 students have participated in a playground program, Play in Peace, which helps promote positive play.
