Sound Forge Recording Instructions

RECORDING:

1. Double Click on the "Sound Forge" Icon
    
   

   Click on:

   • Record ()
   • Record again ()

   Now "Record"

2. After Recording
   
   Click on:
    
   
   • Stop ( () -- (next to Arm)
   • Close
   • Process
   • Select 'Normalize'
   • Select 'OK'
   • Now "listen" to your file using the "Play key"
   • OK

SAVING:

Click on:

1. File
2. Sava as: Choose Drive "MLC X"
3. Type in your last name + underscore + complete first name (smith_robert)
4. Select file type: Choose - MP3 Audio
5. Save
6. Close the program
