Professors McKenna and Singh Appointed as Associate Editors of

Personnel Review

Dr. Steve McKenna and Dr. Parbudyal Singh have been appointed as Associate Editors, responsible for the North American region, of Personnel Review for a three year term beginning Winter, 2011.  Personnel Review is one of the leading refereed journals in human resource management, with a stellar reputation in Europe and Australasia and a growing presence in North America.  Both of the York professors have published their research in this journal.  

 

 

Dr. Steve McKenna is an Associate Professor in the School of HRM.  His research interests cover global human resource management; global mobility and movement and critical approaches to human resource management.  He has published inthe International Journal of Human Resource Management, Management International Review, Organization, Management Learning, Personnel Review and Career Development International, among others.

 

Dr. Parbudyal Singh is the Director of the School of HRM.  His research covers emerging issues in human resources management and labor relations.  He has published more than 70 refereed publications, many in top refereed journals such as Industrial Relations (Berkeley), British Journal of Industrial Relations, International Journal of Human Resource Management, Personnel Review, Management International Review, Human Resource Management Review, and the Journal of Vocational Behavior.

This further enhances the reputation of the School of Human Resource Management as a Centre of Excellence for HRM and adds to the number of faculty appointed to such editorial roles.

Dr Julia Richardson is Associate Editor for Qualitative Research for a leading HRM related journal, Career Development International.

Dr. David Doorey is Articles Review for the Canadian Labour and Employment Law Journal, Canada's leading peer-reviewed journal in  workplace law and policy.
