Professors Zikic, Budworth, and Fang Awarded 2011 SSHRC

Standard Research Grants

The School of HRM continues to excel in external research grant competitions.  This year, Professors Marie-Helene Budworth and Jelena Zikic were successful in their applications.   The 16 SHRM faculty have won over $1 million in SSHRC funding over the past 5 years.

 

 

Dr. Jelena Zikic has been awarded a three-year SSHRC Standard Research Grant for her proposal entitled:  "Mentoring relationships between immigrant and local professionals: Relationship process and outcomes”.

Amount:  $67,000

 

Dr. Marie-Helene Budworth was awarded a three-year SSHRC Standard Research Grant for her proposal entitled:  “Youth Unemployment: A field test of two interventions for increasing self-efficacy”

Amount:  $63,000

Dr. Tony Fang was awarded two SSHRC grants in 2011:

2011-2014:  SSHRC Standard Research Grants (PI, $62,453)

2011-2012:  SSHRC Public Outreach Grant (PI, $120,000)
