Current Research: 1. Research and theory building in the area of parent-child relations and child development. 2. Divorce, single parenting, and poverty. 3. Problems experienced by condo owners.
Anne-Marie Ambert (Ph.D., Cornell) specializes in parent-child relationships, the social construction of childhood and parenthood, poverty, as well as divorce and related issues. She has authored numerous books, book chapters, and articles focusing on her research interests. Her teaching interests include the family, research methods, adult development, mental health, and gerontology. Prof. Ambert has been a long-standing member of the editorial board of the Journal of Marriage and Family.
