Course Requirements

BA Requirements

  • AP/ADMS 1000 3.0- Introduction to Administrative Studies
  • AP/SOSC 2330 9.0 Economics of Law, Policy and Organization
  • AP/ECON 3210 3.0 Use of Economic Data* or
    AP/ECON 3500 3.00 Intro. Math Stats for Economists

An additional six credits, including at least three credits at the 3000 level from:

AP/ECON 3200 3.0 Industrial Organization

AP/ECON 3240 3.0 Labour Economics - Theory

AP/ECON 3249 3.0 Labour Economics - Writing

AP/SOCI 3480 6.0 Work, Organizations and Society

AP/SOCI 3490 6.0 Formal Organizations

AP/ADMS 3300 3.0 Decision Analysis (Pre-req ADMS 2320 3.0 or ECON 2500 3.0)


Honours BA Requirements

In addition to the above, students must include at least six credits chosen from:

AP/ECON 4350 3.0 Topics in Industrial Organization

AP/SOSC 4041 6.0 Alternative Economic Firms and Arrangements

AP/SOSC 4210 6.0 Labour Relations Simulation

AP/ADMS 4010 3.0 Organization and Administrative Theory

* Students who take this course as part of the Macroeconomy Stream should replace it with another course chosen from the listed course options at the 2000 or 3000 level.
