Join a LA&PS or York club
York is a very large university, but if you take the initiative to get involved, it can start to feel a lot smaller. The great news is that this is easy to do! LA&PS is associated with numerous clubs and organizations that cater to the varied interests of York students. There's at least one club for everyone.
