GRAD Level

SOARING is designed to recognize and reward those students that are taking the initiative to make the most of their university experience. Through SOARING, you are also able to network and make new friends by attending events and through valuable networking opportunities that are made available by the SOARING program.

GRAD - Getting Ready and Done - is the third component of the SOARING Program designed specifically for students that have completed 60 credits.

Graduating at York can be a complex process, not to mention the need to think about what you will be doing after graduation - will you go on to postgraduate studies, or take a year off of school to work or travel, or are you going straight into the job market? GRAD workshops and events focus on the primary concerns of students approaching graduation and highlight things that every potential grad needs to know to assist them in their transition.

The GRAD Program is designed to:

GRAD - Points

By participating in workshops, activities, events, etc. or volunteering you obtain points that are accumulated throughout the year and are then entitled to enter for during the period in which the Program is running. You can then receive recognition for your participation through a SOARING Certificate and Letter of Recognition.
