Undergraduate Sexuality Studies Association
121-C Founders College
Moving into its fourth year as a University recognized organization, the Undergraduate Sexuality Studies Association (USSA) maintains its mission to bring positive spaces for the queer community and allies at York. As such, USSA has hosted many successful events from conferences, symposiums, art exhibits to discussion groups and fundraising. Always ready to push the boundaries on our understandings of sex, sexuality and gender, the USSA team is a body is students who wish, aim and work for change and social justice and enjoy occasional provocation.
Within these events, USSA aims to challenge racisms, homophobia, sexism, ableism, ageism and many other forms of prejudice and oppressions. USSA aims to work with the wider York University community for social justice and positive change at York and in the world abroad.
Keep an eye out this year as USSA promises to bring its annual events to the forefront of York University’s culture.
