There as a latter day Don Quixote, he jousts mightily with the reigning dragons of Canadian academe, disturbing their Hartzian dreams with the specter of early Canadian Marxists who keep wandering outside the damn paradigm. Postmodernists, failing to recognize either Hartz or Marx, look puzzled. The dragons, holding their fire for meatier prey, emit a distant hiccup.
