Corey Dolgon, is an Assistant Professor of American Studies at the Friends World Program, Southampton College Long Island University. He is also a political activist and community organizer on issues of poverty and social justice. His work includes forthcoming articles on cultural studies, the relationships between postfordism, postmodernism and bourgeois culture, and the role that local political action groups can take in combating the rise of global capitalism.
