Thank you for your interest in the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Professional Studies’ Bridging Program for Internationally Educated Professionals. 

We are now accepting applications for September 2010!  The deadline to apply is May 14, 2010 (date may be subject to change).

Please use the following steps to ensure that your applications and documents are submitted:

Step 1 – Apply to York University using the York hard copy application

$80, non-refundable fee.

Complete the hard copy application and print it out (choose the "Undergraduate application for admission" form). Payment can be via visa, mastercard or personal cheque.  Include the completed application with all other documents noted below.

Special instructions:
The York application is used for many undergraduate points of entry.  To ensure your application is appropriately identified for the Bridging IEP Program, please note the following details:

In Section 3:  For Classes Beginning
Please choose [box] September 2010

In Section 4: Program Selection
Under “For Visiting Applicants Only (please select one of the following):"
Choose "I am applying to the Bridging Program for Internationally Educated Professionals (IEP)"

There is no additional fee for this application. 

Use the checklist on the last page to ensure that you have compiled all the documents necessary for assessment of your file.

Submit supplementary application and relevant documents to Admissions Office.  Use the Identifying Label provided on your envelope.  Mail or use the drop box for the Admissions Office on the main floor of the Bennett Centre.  (24/7 access is available for this drop box)

Step 3 - Complete an English language ability assessment

Once our office receives your complete application, we will contact you to set up dates to assess your English skills.

When to expect to hear from us:

Once all documents have been received, your application will be evaluated for admission to the program. Given the response to this new bridging program, it may take 4-6 weeks to receive a decision.  Please be patient and view your application status through ‘MyFile

Please note that due to the limited number of places available in the program, submitting your application does not guarantee you admission to the program.
