Welcome

Welcome to my homepage. I am an assistant professor in the department of Physics and Astronomy at York University and an associate faculty member at the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics.

The goal of my research is to understand the fundamental laws of nature through their impact on cosmology. I am primarily a theorist, dabbling in cosmology, field theory, string theory, and gravitation. I also design data analysis algorithms to confront fundamental theory with observations of the Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB) radiation. You can learn more about my research here.

PhD and MSc positions

Information on the graduate program in Physics and Astronomy at York can be found on the department website.

There are also various programs for students at the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics. Students can apply for the Perimeter Scholars International (PSI) program, a 1 year MSc program in theoretical physics. PhD students at other institutions can apply to the Visiting Graduate Fellows program, which gives the opportunity to spend 4-12 months in residence at the Perimeter Institute.

Postdoctoral Positions

Applications are now being accepted for a postdoctoral position in theoretical particle physics and cosmology in the high energy group at York University. Click here for more information and to apply.
