How to Apply

All applicants must submit the supplementary documents listed below along with the online application found on the York admissions requirements Web page:

  1. Curriculum Vitae
  2. Three letters of reference
  3. Supplementary Information form
  4. A statement of Interest
  5. A Skype interview will be a requirement as part of the application process unless waived by the Program.

Application Timetable

There are two start dates each year, September 1 and January 1.

The MFAc operates as a trimester program offering courses in fall, winter and summer. Application deadlines are:

  • Winter November 1
  • Fall March 1

You are encouraged to apply as early as possible as spaces in the Program are limited. In extraordinary circumstances late applications may be considered.
