About York U Mobile

York U Mobile is a university-wide initiative to deliver useful, mobile-appropriate content to the York U community, locally and worldwide. We are proud to announce the launch of five new sites: a homepage, my.yorku.ca current student portal, campus maps, library and Passport York sign in page. These new sites complement the already existing mobile sites: Future Students, Fine Arts, Media Relations and International

"York U Mobile aims to improve the student experience and enhance the convenience and availability of University services. This initial launch is a great start, providing the information and services students, faculty and staff identified as the top content and services they wanted on their mobile devices in an online survey conducted earlier this year," says Bob Gagne, chief information officer, University Information Technology (UIT) department.

What's next?
These mobile sites are part of a broader initiative to improve the mobile experience of students, faculty, staff, visitors, and neighbors who interact with York U's campus and community. We will continue to develop, expand and improve, and roll out new features.
