On March 30, 2005 Project Mosaica hosted an event entitled JEWS AND THE VIRTUAL WORLD, which included a talk by RUTH ELLEN GRUBER and a roundtable discussion with Reesa Greenberg and Shelley Hornstein and Louis Kaplan.
Ruth Ellen Gruber (right) is the author of Virtually Jewish: Reinventing Jewish Culture in Europe and consultant to centropa.org. Reesa Greenber, Shelley Hornstein are professors of Art History and Visual Culture at York University and directors of www.mosaica.ca, a website dedicated to web culture, Jewish culture and new culture, a York University Research project based at Institute of Research and Learning Technologies. Louis Kaplan from the department of History of Art, University of Toronto, is an undergraduate co-ordinator of Visual Culture and Communication at the University of Toronto at Mississauga, and member of www.mosaica.ca Advisory
