Graduation is a significant milestone. We strongly encourage family and friends of the graduands to attend and celebrate this memorable event.

Here you will find guest information for the June 2012 Convocation. Please note, some information may not be available until closer to convocation.

To find a summary schedule of the ceremonies, click here. You will need to know the number of the ceremony you are to attend. If you do not know the ceremony number, you can search for the schedule by the graduand’s program. To search by the graduand’s program, click here.

Please note: we strongly recommend you confirm with the graduand which ceremony they were invited to and ensure that they provide you with a ticket(s). For more information on tickets, click here.

Ceremonies will take place at the Convocation Pavilion located at the Rexall Centre, 1 Shoreham Drive, York University - Keele campus.

Please note: The Kellogg-Schulich Executive MBA ceremony will take place in the McEwen Auditorium, Seymour Schulich Building which is also located at Keele campus.

Expand Overseas Relatives

Family members of graduands who reside outside of Canada may need to apply for a visa in order to attend convocation. The Events and Ceremonials team can provide a letter that can be used in conjunction with letter of invitation to obtain a Temporary Resident Visa to enter Canada for graduating students with family members who reside in one of these countries.

To request a letter from the Events and Ceremonials team please complete this online application form and allow a minimum of two (2) business days for completion. The Events and Ceremonials team will contact you via e-mail once your letter is prepared.

Please note: convocation ceremonies will be video recorded and photographed. Be sure to come back and watch the live Webcast; a link will be posted on the Home page of this Web site. You can view the Webcasts after convocation is over in the Archives section of this Web site. You can also purchase a Convocation DVD.

Expand Lost and Found

Any items found on the convocation grounds at the Rexall Centre will be returned to the York University lost and found. These items will be available for pick up one week after the completion of the last ceremony. For more information on lost and found items, please click here.
