||New Paramount Studios is on campus to take graduation portrait photographs throughout the academic year. The final block of sittings each year takes place at the end of March. Check the New Paramount Studios Web site to see the portrait sitting dates and to book your appointment. Spaces fill quickly, so be sure to book early! Please note there is a 'sitting fee' to have your portrait taken. If you miss the sitting times offered at York, contact New Paramount Studios directly to arrange a sitting at one of their locations.|
At each ceremony a professional photographer will photograph each graduate as they greet the Chancellor. Each graduate will also have a portrait style photo taken as they exit the stage. Since professional photographs will be taken of each graduate, we encourage family and friends to remain in their seats and enjoy the ceremony.
Complimentary proofs of these photographs will be e-mailed to each graduand following the convocation ceremonies. There is no obligation to purchase.
Graduation bouquets will be sold during the convocation ceremonies by Toronto-area florist, Convocation Flowers. To order flowers prior to the ceremony, click here.
Please note: flowers cannot be worn nor carried by the graduands until after the ceremony has concluded.
Diploma frames, rings, watches and other graduation gifts will be available for sale at the reception by the Alumni Office and the York Bookstore.
You can order a commemorative video of the convocation ceremony, stored on a portable USB drive.
Please allow four to six weeks from the end of the convocation ceremonies for your order to be delivered.
Framing services are provided by York Alumni. For more information, including a downloadable price list and order form, click here.
