Welcome to New College!
New College was formed on Colleges are Communities (students, staff and faculty) that endeavour to provide the tools for academic achievement and personal success outside of the classroom. We do this by creating a variety of events for our students. These events offer an opportunity for our students to network and create relationships, while learning valuable tips and tricks from experts in specialized fields. Our goal is to contribute to developing a well rounded individual. New College's founding members are:
As a student in one of these programs, you will be added to the New College Announcements email distribution list (NC-ANNOUNCE). Our goal is to ensure that students are kept aware of upcoming events. Communications relayed to you through NC-ANNOUNCE will come from York University, Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies, New College, our founding members, our affiliated clubs and your student council (NCC). If for some reason you are not receiving our communications, and would like to be included in our distribution list, please email ncnews@yorku.ca. New College will also offer opportunities to gain leadership experience while building your social and professional network. Make the most of your university journey by getting involved and gaining experience.
New Beat Magazine The New Beat magazine operates out of the Master's Office and is run by a team of talented and dedicated New College students. Issues are posted to the website offering additional information about the college, events and programs as well as student life. A great way to get involved is by submitting articles, artwork, paintings, poems, photographs, comic strips, etc. For more information on how to get involved, please email ncnews@yorku.ca.
