Call for Papers: F.E.E.G.I. 2006

The Forum on European Expansion and Global Interaction (F.E.E.G.I.) will hold its next meeting at the Huntington Library in Pasadena, California, on February 3-4, 2006. Individual proposals on any theme in the field of European expansion or global interaction during the early modern period, broadly defined, will be considered. F.E.E.G.I. hopes to provide support to enable graduate students to participate in the conference. A selection of papers will be considered for publication in a special issue of F.E.E.G.I.'s affiliate journal Itinerario.

An abstract of a paper proposal should be sent as an email attachment to:
Prof. Kris Lane
Department of History
College of William & Mary
Williamsburg, VA 23187-8795

(NB: Prof. Lane will be in Bogota, Colombia, during fall semester 2005, so use of e-mail is essential.)

Proposals should include a 250-word abstract of the paper and an abbreviated c.v. Those who prefer a hard-copy submission must provide six (6) copies of the abstract and c.v.

The proposal deadline is October 15, 2005.
