Georgia State University, College of Law
Thea Nanton was recently admitted to the Law programme at Georgia State University. She wishes to specialize in Intellectual, Property, Technology and Media. Thea has worked and been involved in various projects at the Nigerian Hinterland Project during the previous three years, while completing her undergraduate degree at York.

University of Toronto, Faculty of Medicine
Kamilah Golding will pursue an MSc in Occupational Therapy. Her research focus includes acquired brain injury and mental health. Kamilah began working at the Tubman Centre last summer.

York University, Faculty of Education
Laura Mae Lindo was recently admitted to the Master programme in Education. She will examine students of African descent in the Canadian education system. Focusing on high school students and examining the curriculum and the affect of the said curriculum on students of African descent. Laura Mae was introduced to the Tubman Centre last September.

The Tubman Centre would like to recognize and thank Thea, Kamilah and Laura Mae for all their hardwork and efforts. We wish you the best of luck in all of your future endeavours.
