In the FACS New Media Lab (ACW 102) DVD Studio Pro is currently on the following machines:
DVD Studio Pro 4: 1, 5, 7, 10, 13, 19, and Laptop 05
DVD Studio Pro 2: 15
You are able to sign out a laptop computer with the software (number 5) during times when other classes are going on in the lab (quietly speak to Daniel to avoid interrupting the class). You may need to leave some ID with Daniel, but then you can take the laptop into ACW 103 and work until Daniel needs to leave. You will eventually need to purchase a user card to sign out computers, however...
- You need a copy of the DVD Studio Pro 4 manual. You can get DVDStudioPro4UserManual.pdf from my Public folder (which is in nmw inside FACSinstructors volume) on the facs-newmedia.finearts.yorku.ca server.
