Professor of Atmospheric Science

Research Interests: Boundary-Layer and Mesoscale Meteorology
Active on a broad range of research topics in boundary-layer meteorology and air-sea interaction. Background in Applied Mathematics, Physical Oceanography and Atmospheric Science. Has worked on numerical modelling, wind tunnel and field experiments. Presently co-editor of the journal, Boundary-Layer Meteorology. Specific topics are:
Research Contributions, 2003-2009 inclusive
It is my practice to put students, research fellows and research associates as first author on most papers. In most cases however I am closely involved in the research and in the writing of the papers. My role has been relatively minor in some papers but I can legitimately claim to be a major contributor to both the research and writing of most of the other journal papers listed.
