1) FALL TERM PROJECT DUE TODAY AT START OF CLASS; 10% late penalty after class starts today; 33.3% (1/3 off) late penalty on Tuesday; 66.6% (2/3 off) late penalty on Wednesday; not accepted Thursday or later. FALL TERM EXAM DATE AND TIME: Thursday December 15th, 2:00-4:30 pm, Rexall Centre. The exam will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions. More details later in today's lecture. Homework: Chapter 8+9 (100 POINTS; no time limit) and Quiz: Chapter 8+9 (100 POINTS; time limit!) at MasteringAstronomy.com are available. They are both due TUESDAY at 11:59 pm. (Hints and multiple tries are provided in Homeworks, but Quizzes allow only one try and show answers only after the due date.)
