Patti Ryan is the liaison librarian for Political Science at  Scott Library, York University.  In this capacity, she manages the library's political science collection, and provides instruction and research assistance to students and researchers in the social sciences and humanities.  Her current  research interests gender and politics, feminist theory, critical pedagogy and the socio-political dimensions of Information Literacy. 

Patti holds a MA in political science from Simon Fraser University, and a Master of Library and Information Science from the University of Western Ontario.  She is currently working on an article based on the findings from her Master's thesis (2009), entitled "Women Incumbents in Canada and the Decision to Run Again:  An Exploratory Study."
