OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

  1. The standard stimulus is of a fixed length (top line in the tutorial).
  2. The comparison stimulus is adjustable (bottom line in the tutorial).
  3. Click the left arrow button to make the comparison shorter.
  4. Click the right arrow buttonto make the comparison longer.
  5. Each trial starts with the comparison line at a value that clearly appears longer (or shorter) than the standard line. Your task is to adjust the comparison stimulus so that it appears equal to the standard stimulus.
  6. When you think that the comparison equals the standard, click the Next Trial button, to advance to the next trial.
  7. Clicking on the Menu button will end the trial session and return you to the menu.
