Ten artists have been commissioned to create works that reflect on the general theme of time and how it is, was, or could be experienced in the future. | ![]() |
Works will be installed throughout the school, in lockers, in the teachers' lounge, in the girls' washroom. | ![]() |
The show is playful and profound, engaging a whole new audience to consider the relations between technology, time and art. | The artists assembled range from Canada's most celebrated visual artist Michael Snow to internationally renowned Ho Tam. | ![]() |
The exhibition has been imagined by York University Professor, Janine Marchessault who wanted to test out one of Marshall McLuhan's famous questions: Do teenagers experience time differently? | ![]() |
The exhibition is supported by Public Access, an innovative curatorial group located in Toronto. | ![]() |
The results will be on display at Central Technical High School in downtown Toronto beginning November 3rd and running until December 14th. |

Not only will visiting high schools be invited to participate, but the show will also be open to the general public on Thursdays and Fridays between 6 pm and 10 pm, as well as Saturdays between 1 pm and 4 pm. |
