2012 TELUS-Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation Fellowship Competition

The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation (CBCF), in partnership with the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation, recently announced the 2012 TELUS-Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation Fellowship, a one-time funding opportunity.  A summary is provided below. 
 
Objectives
To provide salary support for medical/health care professional training for post-graduate level physicians and health professionals in all disciplines relevant to multidisciplinary breast cancer care, and may include supporting a clinical or translational component of an existing breast cancer research project.
 
The specific funding interests for this competition include:

• Development of specialized medical/health care professional skills related to breast health/breast cancer treatment and care
• Strengthening multidisciplinary care teams focused on improving breast cancer treatment care.

• clinical/professional training only
• research only, or
• both research and clinical/professional training

ORS Submission Policy
York University researchers are reminded that all applications for external research funding, including Letters of Intent, must be reviewed and approved by the Office of Research Services before they are submitted to the granting agency. For internal approval, the application must be accompanied by a completed ORS Checklist, which requires the Chair’s and Dean’s signatures.

To ensure that the approved application is ready by the agency deadline, a complete application folder must be submitted to the ORS ten (10) working days prior to final submission date.
