Objective
- To improve the health and well-being of all military service members, veterans, and beneficiaries.
- To support studies that will make an important contribution toward research and/or patient care for a disease or condition related to at least one of the Congressionally directed FY12 PRMRP topic areas.
- To
seek applications in laboratory, clinical, behavioral, epidemiologic, and other
areas of research to advance knowledge in disease etiology, improve detection,
diagnosis, treatment, and quality of life for those affected by a relevant
disease or condition, and to develop and validate clinical care or public health
guidelines.

ORS Submission Policy
York University researchers are reminded that all applications for external research funding, including Letters of Intent, must be reviewed and approved by the Office of Research Services before they are submitted to the granting agency. For internal approval, the application must be accompanied by a completed ORS Checklist, which requires the Chair’s and Dean’s signatures.
To ensure that the approved application is ready by the agency deadline, a complete application folder must be submitted to the ORS ten (10) working days prior to final submission date.
